La Bonne Vigie — SOS Méditerranée
A solidarity creation for SOS Méditerranée: Marseille's Bonne Mère reimagined as a “Vigie” (lookout), the child scanning the horizon with binoculars like the sea rescuers. 3D-printed and unveiled at the “Garder le Cap!” event at the Mucem (20 June 2026), marking 10 years of citizen sea rescue in the Mediterranean. That day — World Refugee Day — more than 730 people formed a human chain on Marseille's Corniche, binoculars turned toward the sea: the very lookout gesture the statuette embodies. SOS Méditerranée, a European citizens' association, has rescued people in distress aboard the Ocean Viking for ten years and refuses indifference. All proceeds go to the association to save lives at sea.
